Meet Coach AJ

My passion for fitness grew from my own personal fitness journey. After years of struggling with consistency in both exercise and nutrition, everything changed for me six years ago. In 2018, I lost 50 pounds in just over four months and haven’t looked back since.

During that time, I noticed a lack of accessible resources for the "everyday" person seeking practical, sustainable lifestyle changes. It became clear that my purpose was to fill this gap. I wanted to help others avoid the same struggles I faced and guide them toward long-lasting wellness.

Over the last several years, I’ve pushed myself to new heights, both mentally and physically, achieving milestones that once seemed out of reach. I’ve completed seven Half Marathons and five Marathons, including New York City, Chicago and Boston. Each race has taught me valuable lessons in consistency, endurance, and the power of persistence. In addition to running, I’ve competed in several HYROX Competitions, a challenge that combines strength and endurance in ways I hadn’t experienced before. These accomplishments have shaped my philosophy: stay disciplined, be comfortable with discomfort, and celebrate the journey every step of the way.

Today, I work as a group fitness instructor at Life Time Stamford, and as Hyrox Performance Coach at Catalyst. My approach is simple: fitness and nutrition should enhance your life, not complicate it. I work with people at all levels, whether they’re just starting out or striving to reach new goals.

Time to work!
